On this website we keep you informed about every detail regarding our Open Greenhouse Day. The Open Greenhouse Day of VWS Export - Import of Flowerbulbs BV is a perfect and big event for flower grower, supplier and breeders. Production and techniques together at one place, an ideal combination, according to the visitors and suppliers of the past Open Greenhouse Days.

VWS invides everybody who has something to do with lilies to vistit our Open Greenhouse Day !!!

During the Open Greenhouse Day 500 till 550 different lily varieties which have been planted in the trial greenhouse, can be seen. The different varieties have been split up in 50% new and 50% existing varieties. From more than 2100 lots trials have been planted in order to form a good picture of as many as different growers and varieties possible.

The Open Greenhouse Day will be held on 18 May 2011 from 12:00 till 20:00 hrs.

During this day the greenhouse will be extended with a large exhibition tent in which 35 to 40 suppliers will represent their companies. Read more on our Event Info page.

 

VWS launches out with their own lily parade

During the Open Greenhouse Day vases sent in by prominent hybridizers, like Vletter den Haan, The Originals, Marklily, World Breeding, Carina, Mak Breeding and more...

The vases will be in perfect bloom during the Open Greenhouse Day. Approximately 100 - 120 vases can be seen, all with new varieties – even a few ones with a number. Both the growers and the flower growers will be able to see the latest developments in the lily field.
